Nickhil Jakatdar
CEO and Founder

Prior to Vuclip, Nickhil was instrumental in the founding and running of three successful startups. Nickhil led Praesaugus, CommandCAD, and Timbre Technologies through financing, tremendous growth, and eventual acquisition.

Nickhil received his M.S. and Ph.D. from UC Berkeley and has been the recipient of many awards from various organizations. He has to his credit more than 30 patents and 20 conference papers.
Betty Kayton
CFO

Betty has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, as a key member of the executive team at a number high-growth, venture-funded startups. Her abilities in the arenas of strategic planning and fund raising have made her in building appropriate infrastructure without stifling growth.

Betty was certified as a CPA while working for Ernst & Young. She holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BA from Pomona College.
Arun Prakash
Executive Vice President of Products, Content and Marketing

Arun leads strategy and execution for Vuclip, as well as manages all aspects of consumer interactions. Prior to Vuclip, Arun led marketing and products at YouSendIt and helped pioneer the company’s freemium business model to deliver outstanding financial success and user growth. Additionally, he has held leadership positions at Ketera Technologies and Aspect Development, Inc. He also founded and acts as CEO for Spozzle, an online community for U.S. high school sports.

Arun holds both a Masters in Computer Applications and Bachelors in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University.
Erik Gunther
Director of Content

Erik heads up the content team at Vuclip. Because he works on content programming, content acquisition, and content ingestion, he's never far from what clips are hot on mobile right now.

Prior to working at Vuclip, he spent 10 years at Yahoo! and was instrumental in everything related to the consumer side of popular searches with the Yahoo! Buzz Index. He has a degree in Political Science from California State University, Hayward.
Salman Hussain
Senior VP of Business Development

Salman has over ten years experience in the mobile media space. He runs business development and strategy in APAC and Middle East for Vuclip. Prior to Vuclip, he worked for Verisign, Al Ebda IT, and Electronics for Imaging.

Salman holds a BS from Aligarh Muslim University.
Bo Shen
VP of Engineering

Bo manages overall system performance and engineering operations at Vuclip. Prior to joining Vuclip, he was a Senior Research Scientist at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories.

Bo has published numerous articles in the fields of image and video processing and multimedia systems and holds more than 10 U.S. patents. He earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at Wayne State University.
Meera Chopra
VP and Global Head of Advertising Sales

Based in Delhi, Meera runs Vuclip’s global ad business. Prior to joining Vuclip, Meera was the National Sales Head with Times Internet Ltd. She has over a decade of experience in business development and corporate sales having worked with leading media houses such as Networkplay and Komli Media.
Naresh Nemali
VP of Finance

Naresh leads the finance department at Vuclip. Before joining Vuclip, Naresh had over 15 years of experience at technology companies. He started his career at Oracle and went on to found a startup of his own.

Naresh received his Masters in Accounting Information Systems from ASU. He is a Chartered Accountant from India with a Bachelors in Math, Physics and Chemistry.
Shishir Shroff
Director of Business Solutions

As Senior Director of Business Solutions at Vuclip, Shishir leads integrations with carriers and partners worldwide. Prior to Vuclip, Shishir was at Cadence Design Systems as part of the Application Engineering team, managing top-tier customers across North America, Europe and Asia.

Shishir has a Masters in Computer science from The University of Denver. He attended and graduated Pune University in India with a Bachelors in Computer Science.
